Thank you for supporting our first two years of Actionable Solutions
Calida Jones and Doug Clayton rooted Creative Evolutions in a true prioritization of equity and awareness of power dynamics. Since 2022, partnered with a trusted team of Collaborators, we've been honored to uplift and, when necessary, invent, innovative solutions to systemic challenges in the arts ecosystem, such as Value-Based Ownership, Shared Leadership Models, and Strategic Pathways.

Creative Evolutions is a human-centered adaptive ecosystem that creates actionable solutions for creative individuals and organizations.
Our work is rooted in practical applications of our values approaches we have piloted and utilized across the country.
Our central activity is finding, developing, and uplifting new actionable tools for the creative fields, and making those tools available more easily to individuals, organizational leaders, funders, investors, and others. Creative Evolutions does support implementation through consulting engagements and coaching work for individuals, in areas including: Long-Form Organizational Transitions, Turning Values or Purpose into Behaviors and Action, Strategy and Vision, Rebuilding Funding Resources in Healthy Ways, Executive Search, Hiring and Succession for Staff, Interim Management, Board Realignment, Reconception, and Rebuilds, and Organizational Succession.
Workshops & Talks
Creative Evolutions collaborators offer an ever-expanding set of virtual or in-person workshops for groups, on a range of topics. We also regularly speak or teach at universities and other training programs, facilitate one-time discussions around topics, and provide individualized coaching and advising. Learn more.

Creative Evolutions has developed a variety of approaches to executive hiring that shift the paradigm to treat candidates as valuable human beings, bring true expertise to bear in evaluation, and strengthen an organization's staff and partnerships through the hiring process.
