Let's use our ecosystem to
expand our choices.
MOMENTUM is a rolling convening.
First, a focused group of a hundred creative people with many perspectives will spend two days in Oklahoma, creating new options for how to lead organizations, detailing them as much as they can.
Then, they will package all of those details and send them forward to another hundred people meeting two weeks later in the Bahamas. The new group will add to the collective ideas and bring their own distinct perspectives.
Next, those growing ideas are packaged and sent forward to another group meeting two weeks later in Seattle, who will then send their thoughts forward to a final group in Minneapolis.
The collective ideas and knowledge from the summer will then be available to everyone for piloting, exploration, and as as resource going forward.
This summer, through these convenings, we're focusing on one of the nonprofit worlds biggest stated needs:
Not "how do we fix boards" or "here's why I hate boards" — but what other models, structures, and approaches are actually available to us? What are people already doing that we haven't named yet?
